I'm also a recovering hoodie girl. Every night: walk in, bra off, gray hoodie on. I looked like I'd given up, and I was sweating under the blanket by 9.

Can you see anything through it?add
Not in the darker colors. You can open the door for the delivery driver in it. Our White shows more than the rest, so pick Black, Burgundy or Dark Green if that worries you.
Will my nipples show?add
It isn't padded or lined. It drapes away from you instead of clinging, so it's softer looking than a tight T-shirt. If you're answering the door, a darker color with a cardigan on top is the easy move.
Do I wear a bra with it?add
No. It isn't a support garment and it isn't trying to be. It's for home, after the bra comes off.
Is it lingerie?add
No. It's a long, soft dress you wear around the house. You'll fold laundry in it. He'll just see it differently.
Why modal and not cotton?add
Modal is spun from beechwood, so it breathes like a plant fiber, but it drapes and swings more than cotton jersey and feels smoother on bare skin. The 5% elastane gives it stretch so it moves when you walk.
Will I get hot in it?add
It's 0% polyester, so it doesn't trap heat the way a fleece set does. The back is open, so put a cardigan over it and let the blanket keep you warm.
